I have a 3rd Gen Tacoma with Dirt King UCAs. Currently with 17x8.5 0mm wheels and 285/70-17 tires I get a slight rub in reverse at lock on the UCAs. I have been thinking slightly lower offset of the wheels would help, but that is proving to be a little harder than I thought. Would going with a 17x9 -12mm and the same size tire actually push the tires away from the UCAs any better, or would the extra .5" of rim width almost negate the difference of offset? Also taking into account that the tires would change shape a tad from the difference of the extra .5" to bead.
