Hey all,

Tire Question...

Which 255 85/16 do I put on my 2007 Tacoma with a 3" OME Lift?

I want an all-terrain, similar to a BFG. THe only make the mud terrain
in this size, and really wanted to stick with an All Terrain as this is my DD.

Anyone have experience with the Cooper Discoverer ST?

I could also rund a 285 75/16 I believe and there is certainly more options in that size. Looks like they are just a bit smaller overall.

BFG does make the AT in that size...might do that.

ANYONE have experience with the BFG Mud Terrains in the snow?

Those Toyo M-55 look pretty good...any experience on the trail with these? I'm looking for something that will perform like the BFG All-Terrrain..

...man those Toyo's are $$$$$ though eh!!??

I had the Toyo AT open countrys on my 80 in the 315/75R16s size which are a similar design and they did real well in snow and rain and offroad in mud was about as good as you can expect from an AT. The tires before that were BFG ATs and they just plain sucked ass in the rain and snow.

For what you asked for I think the M-55s would be what I would buy.

BFG AT's suck in rain/snow? WOW first time I've ever heard that...I"m on my 5th set...just because they are so good in snow/wet.

Nitto Terra Grapplers look like a good option too. The M-55's are sweet but SO pricey

loos like the M-55's only come in Load range E. I have some E's on there now, and they're just too darn stiff for a Taco...

The BFGs I had didn't clear snow well which would give steering and brakeing issues and would hydroplane pretty easily. The Toyos were hands down a far better tire in those conditions.

hmm...interesting. Well, if they are better than the BFG's than I'll be psyched with the traction!

did you notice the E range tires being really stiff??
