I vote OME, but I'm a 60 newb.

Sounds like a great trip. Have fun.

sounds good; i hear that OME can't be beat!

I have the bds system with anti-inversion shackles, and an OME steering dampener, I like the set-up so far, I have only had it a while so only time will tell. The ride is nice, all my bushing we worn pretty bad so it feels extremely stable now, and the cornering is much more stable. I am preparing to work on the steering next need new tie rod ends, and end links.

Don't put all your worries into a lift as the roads are pretty decent. I'd suggest a locker if you don't already have one as the mud can get you stuck with open diffs. Also make sure EVERYTHING is in top shape before leaving. Central American mechanics can fix your truck but they tend to bandaid it rather than a long term fix. Better yet, know how to fix it yourself.

Are you driving around through Texas or taking the ferry to Cancun?

thanks for the info. guys. i am going to be driving through Texas into mexico.

what about the HABU springs from man-a-fre? but i might most likely go with the DAKAR 3" kit. is there another place other than man-a-fre to get the 3" dakar kit?

Urban is great, so is Cruiser Outfitters. You can't go wrong with David or Kurt.

thanks, going to check them out

where can i check out the Alcans at? web?

thanks
