I'm coming up to repainting my BJ60 and I want to get the front end paint looking as original as possible. I would appreciate if someone with an original paint job could check which bolts were painted over from factory. Mine had 2 PO paint jobs so it's hard to tell on my vehicle (which was disassembled for rebuild long ago).

-The four M8 bolts holding the radiator/headlight support panel to the front wings (aka fenders).
-The six M8 bolts holding the middle panel of the radiator support on.
-The single M8 bolt holding the bonnet (aka hood) catch support to the lower front crossmember.

-The ten M6 bolts holding the valence panel to the front wings and headlight support brackets.
-The six M6 bolts (omitted from the below diagram) which hold the front wings to the front radiator support panel.

I'm pretty sure the M8 bolts on the radiator support panel are painted over, as there is seam sealer on the joints with the wings, but for the others I am really not sure.

Thanks!

Mine has “original” paint, I wish I could check on mine. But something about the paint just ain’t original… good luck.
