I installed the JVC KW-V960BW about 6 months ago in prep for a long road trip. I chose it based off having analog volume control, a cd/dvd player, and android auto. Ended up spending more than I wanted since those requirements lead to only units that were $600+ if I remember correctly.
I like it overall. Definitely a huge upgrade. I recall that the unit is wired to not use the oem amp in the lx450 based on some other threads here.
In hindsight I think there was one that had a capacitive touchscreen, and that would be nice.
I did also override the wire that is supposed to be wired into the park sensor since that seemed really annoying to have to put the car in park to do anything.
I'm about to install a backup camera. Does anyone have any experience with one of these?
