Where you put your hook

Putting winch in my Sahara bumper in the next day or so (need to recruit help to lift the damn thing).

I need a front license plate, and on my Rubi, I zip-tied it to my fairlead, but had a good spot to hook my hook.

I'm wondering where you hook your hook (have fun with that) on a Sahara?

Well, doing it helps. I am in the middle of putting it on, and figured out that I can mount my license plate above the fairlead. So, I can have the hook stick straight out.

Is that what everybody (I see lots of people have opinions on this) is doing?

Whats the name of that rubber "stopper" that will cushion the hook against the fairlead?

I have seen others use exhaust hangers or basically any bushing to do the same job.

I used to have mine just sticking out of the fairlead, but now I hook it the recovery hook on the PS.
