I have a great Cora Weather CB mounted above my rear view mirror attached to the bottom of my roll cage. Only problem is that my head sometimes bangs in to it when I am moving around and it blocks my view.

I cannot mount it flat under the dash because it is too big for that. Any other ideas of where I can mount it so I can still see the front to change channels or volume?

I want to hook up a little speaker to it so I can hear better when on the road. The only thing I can think of is to mount it to the passenger side floor board on the tranny hump. But then a passenger, dirt, sand, or water could get in it and destroy the CB.

Put it in an ammo box and run the mic to the front seat.
