GWNF. A group of us was just there today and I will have some pics posted tomorrow so you can check it out.

that would be great. some directions would help also. thanks

To get to the trails in the George Washington National Forest from Luray, head west on 211 to I-81 South. Get off in Harrisonburg on Rt. 33 and go west. Follow 33 into the Forest and you will see trailheads on both sides of the road.

are the trails rated for difficulty?

Not really. I've only been on one of the trail a couple times, but I'd say that the difficulty varies with the water lever. The last time I've done Salt Shed (Dry River) it was cake. But as you can see https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=69931, things change.

Do a search on "GWNF" in the Trails forum. Or https://forum.ih8mud.com/search.php?searchid=622922

This J**p guy has done a lot of write-ups on the trails in the area (Dry Run, Kephart, Dunkle Hollow, 2nd Mountain, Dictum, etc) http://www.4x4icon.com/offroad/index_alpha.htm
