I have been watching eBay..........I used to have one going across the windshield in my nissian i wonder if something like that would work.


The visors was then mounted to it and the piece utilized the visors screws holes................might be a cheaper mod.

It depends .. if you buy it a official rate or you buy it with the black market dolar rate .. coul be close to 140 USD aprox .. but all depends now how the goverment fix the new rate for 2008 with the new currency in Venezuela " bolivar fuerte "

If I have it calulated correctly they are $1180 for the front and $1359 for the rear? so possibly 1/2 of that?

Here's a vendor from Australia. The product is not as nice as the Tec4x4, but it might be easier sourcing something from Australia rather than Venezuela.

How do these mount?

They appear to mount using your dome light and rear view mirror mount points (slick!). One of the sites I went to specifically mentioned it and the pics above look like it.

They are universal the hole is on both sides on most units.

The issue with the bumpers it's the size and weight .. but need to do a double check on that and yes .. all depends on how the black market start this new 2008 .. with the currency conversion.

Could be in Venezuela at 500 USD aprox .. ( maybe little less ) each bumper, but the usually need to have the Cruiser to make the bumper ..

I thought we can start with something simple like consoles and see what happend ..
