"Cherokee Goodness" that says it all.
The pizza I had last night was one of the best in a while.

Man that looks good. We had burgers at a new franchise joint in OKC yesterday--Twin Peaks. $9 a burger, and they were terrible. And the beer was weak and overpriced. I should have known better than to eat at a franchise theme restaurant, even with half nekkid wimmens.

I tried that place in Dallas and was PISSED that I wasted a meal. Bewbers or not. Dog s***.

My sentiments exactly. We went there because it was new and the wife thought it looked cool from the exterior. $29 for 2 crappy burgers and 2 mugs of lameass beer.

I'm escorting Quick Draw McGrog to the hood tomorrow. If anyone wants to go to Lumpkin's with us let me know.

JesS, I am out of Mail It and Copy at 11:30. Am I picking you up or meeting you?

Uncle Julios was good in Ft Worth. I ate there with Pennington a lot. He is walking distance.

Hell, I miss Rosa's Cafe and Taco Cabana. Of COURSE I miss Uncle Julios :D

The Spill Grill

This post is pretty much for Nolan and Jeff's Crew at the airbase unless you happen to be around 1927 Spillway Road (at the end of Hugh Ward BLVD and left on Spillway then 200 yards and a right turn)....little shack....family run joint.

Disclaimer.....im 2 ginatonics deep and a guy offered me $6k (paid $3500) for my LC at the joint so im in a good mood.

see pic below:

1. Queso cheese sticks $3.97 -- batter has tortillas in it...a slight kick..not bad...could be a bigger quanitity for the dollar
2. Chicken Tendor salad $ 5.97 -- wife likes it and I get to drive the LC 700 yds and eat a burger in the process!
3. Dixie Chicken Samich $4.97 -- pretty good sandwich in the BLt family....bacon was a little overcooked but rabbit food and chicken were great.
4. Milk Shake $1.97 -- I consider myself an expert and on a scale of 1 (being meh and a 10 being slap yo momma it's a 7....comes with a gigantic straw so you can get the chunks
5. Root beer float $2.97 -- meh.......go for the shake they have vanilla, choc and strawberry....root beer was flat.....you need foam to make it worthwhile

Out the door for the wife and I to have dinner after a long day, mowing the yard, feeding the little girl and putting her down....$21.24...a little pricey as I am still wanting 5 more bits of that sandwich or a slightly larger shake but for a Mom and Pop shop I think it will do well with location and menu options. (Ive had their burgers and they are a 7.3 on the scale mentioned above)

They have the monster straws!!!!

I love those things.
I gotta tell ya, I thought I was gonna like those sewer pipe-sized straws too, but there is actually a point at which a vessel is large enough to move TOO much liquid! Now, don't get me wrong, I'm all about getting my shake-on (matter of fact, my sweet tooth is starting to stick out just thinking about that cool nectar), but unless you've got some debris in the ice cream that needs to become mobile, it's almost like work trying to operate that Brent's straw. I guess I'm saying that I felt like I needed to have a vacuum reservoir on standby in case I couldn't provide enough negative pressure to overcome gravity............and THAT'S my write up on a STRAW!

Excellent analogy. So, the straw would be a plus 1 for a Chick Fil A cookies and cream shake but a neg 1 for a vanilla?

I can dig it.

I think you could inhale a Blizzard through one while the fag behind the counter had it tipped upside-down.

I love those things. I plan on hitting Brent's Drug for one soon.

I am not quite sure what kind of food that is?? Is it just a random food joint?

Menu for Spill Grill

it's burgers and shakes but they do good salads according to my :princess: it's got a few outside benches to eat on or carry away.

Im with David on the straws it was a cool novelty on the ride back to the house but they take to much effort when the shake isn't thick enough to warrant it (read DNPs great suction explanation)

Those straws are great for "spit balls"!
