Where to buy Bronze Mist Tint Glass?

My 100 was vandalized last night and the glass companies (Safelite) cannot find replacement glass to match (bronze) for my drivers side rear door glass. Obviously the green and the black privacy glass doesn't match at all. Can someone point me in the right direction here? Is this basically a "hope I find one in salvage" situatio?

OE Green does not

Toyota dealer said that it is no longer an option. So they do not stock it. No dice.

try car-part.com its essentially a site that salvage yards use to sell car parts.
Granted everything is 2nd hand but you can probably find what your looking for.

Beno may be able to find you OEM glass floating around somewhere, but other than that I think your only option will be salvage like others suggested.

I doubt that Frank is going to ship glass. I doubt that you are going to find any sane human being who is going to ship Toyota OEM glass.… At least not for great expense.

I always recommend a glass be bought locally....even if it cost more money.

Same thing happened to me last year. The rear glass was broken and the car burglarized. I also couldn't find matching tint glass easily and wound up going with whatever SafeLite had available. It's a terrible match but I didn't seek out alternatives. If you can find a match without going through too much trouble, do it.

It also would be strange to advertise a piece of glass on eBay and not sell it.

I replaced that glass on my '99 a few years ago from Cruiserparts.net. They shipped it in double wrapped cardboard by UPS . Like a large envelope. No damage at all.

You would need to call to verify the color.

Looks like yours has the port installed leather seats like mine.

Found some glass locally at a salvage yard. If it matches, I'm golden. Thanks guys. CAR-PART led me right to this yard. Thanks again for your help on this.

Bingo. There's a 1998 Lx470 in a yard about 5 miles from me. Bronze tint glass. Happy dance. $100 and I'm done.
