@bernardbar3 nice Cruiser. Any chance you'd be willing to take some photos showing how the gas can holder is mounted to the door? I've really been trying to do something like this with mine but haven't figured out a decent way to do it that doesnt get too bouncy.
Sure, will get some pictures shortly. Thanks

Trying to send these but they won't upload. Is there another way to get these to you? Thanks.
You probably uploaded too many Land Rover pics

Met the original owner of this Land Cruiser. He bought it brand new. He’s has all the import paperwork, tool bag, jack etc from Japan and has kept it all original. It still has the original paintwork and low kilometers. This blue and white license plate denotes from the DMV that this vehicle is all original. An amazing guy and he kept me there for a while telling me the story. Of course I enjoyed hearing it.

Insane.
Probably my favorite color and I love the '80 + bezel.

I looked at the smittybilt site last night and never saw a hint of roll bars. My ‘74 had a full smittybilt cage minus the center bar in the top. For a daily driver it was a little bit inconvenient getting into the driver seat with that pipe bolted to the floor by the hinges.. looked really cool though especially in 1975

Went to the Bogota classic car, restomods and military vehicles show. It was epic! Many Land Cruisers.

Smittybilt made two weld in cage kits which ,for liability reasons, they would prefer not to talk about any more. One for the E-74 FJ40 with the wiper inside the windshield, and one for the 75+. The visual que between them was that the the E-74 version consisted of two upside down L tubes that ran back from the WS frame to the roll bar, and a spreader bar between the two that could be spaced back to clear the wiper motors. The 75+ had a side to side hoop with two spreader bars that could be placed anywhere across the horizontal, allowing for either outside protection or an overhead center console.

I wanted the best of both worlds for Tony when I was building the Karma Cruiser and found that with just a little massaging I could fit the 75+ into the 69.😉 And of course one of the very first things I did after he gave me the truck was put in an overhead console.😊

I still have one NOS Smittybilt cage kit in the shop if anyone is interested.

And if you consider this tech useful, consider hitting the like button.😊
