I pulled the wheels off my FJ62 and found out that the lug nuts were only on by about three threads (they're aftermarket wheels)! Too risky for me.

So I'm looking for a deeper set of studs, but I've had a really hard time finding deeper ones. Does anyone know where I can find a set of longer wheel studs?

Measure what you have and then go to Napa and tell them the lenght you want/need.

12x1.5mm is the tread pitch

Took it to NAPA, the guy measured it and said they don't carry anything that would work, just a stock replacement.

Also tried Advanced, Carquest, Discount tire, Texas trailers, and finally got some Moroso standard replacements. Hopefully they'll work fine, still have to press them.

Do a search! I remember a hand full of threads regarding both longer and stronger thread applications.:beer::beer:

Check the sites that sell spacers and they will often have extended lug nuts, often called "ET" lug nuts. Like this:

ET Lug Nuts - (Recommended for front hubs; $9 per set of 12) $0.75/ea 6850A-AP-ET

Thanks for all the advice guys. I found a set that will likely work. I've got them on the rear axle and they are great, now I've got to press them into the front and see if they give enough bite.

Have you given ARP a call? They do sell extended lug studs

Grabbed a set to try from my local speed shop. They fit, and if the others I've got aren't long enough for the front I'll use them. They aren't cheap, $20 for 5!!
