When OEM Toyota parts will no longer be available?

Does anyone know when you'll no longer be able to get OEM parts for lets say my 01' from the dealer anymore? I know that they'll be available in the aftermarket but just curious.

Depends on what part. There's parts for FJ40's available and parts for 80's that have been discontinued.

100 SERIES owners don't have anything to worry about for a long while still.

And let me elaborate:

If you are devoted to the platform and plan to have a relationship with the 100 series iteration, do be advised that discontinuation of parts goes something like this:

1. Tan interior components.

2. Interior components.

3. Body panels

4. HVAC components (especially control and lines)

5. Engine

6. Chassis.

[it will be a long. long time for numbers 5 and 6 to take place. They are shared across the Tundra and Sequoia platforms which are still in production.]

not to mention there is still the 2010 4.7 tundra (parts truck here at work is a 4.7) thought they were discontinued with the new body style!
