After trying to find a ghost electrical problem over the past month, I realized that I have never seen my little pusher fan in front of the radiator come on. Maybe my truck was hot enough because we have had cool weather and I have been doing most of my work at night. Or I haven't been running my AC or something else.

So what makes the little pusher fan in front of the radiator come on?

when you have A/C - ON plus I belie you have to get to some temperature on A/C (not 100% positive about this one) but in the mummer time when A/C is on it is running on my 2001 LC

I think you are right Skhochay, I just let my 2001 LX get up to operating temperature of 180 degrees with the AC on and the pusher fan never did come on but, the AC was ice cold. But, it is only 65 degrees outside today.

Trinary switch (A/C). When it sees a certain pressure will 'call' for the fan. I'm sure it goes through a relay of some sort as well.

The fan is designed to move additional air across/through the A/C condenser.

So...yes, if you've had cool weather, it is quite possible the refrigerant pressure (related to temperature) has not satisfied the minimum pressure requirement to activate the switch.
