looked on wikipedia but the engine changes and dates were unclear. Looks like 2010 the 5.7 arrived. Is this correct?

great....2008 LC's have them. Good to know. Broadens my search possibilities.
Honestly, I would treat 2008-2012 like the same truck and just look for miles, maint. record and rust issues. You can still find 2008's with less than 50k miles...some well below. Bluetooth music is super easy to add for a mere $40 as I did in my 08.
Look under the FAQ section. There's a write up I did on adding Bluetooth for streaming tunes.Yes good advice. This is my approach. And how did you add Bluetooth music to your 08? Just curious how you went about it. Thanks.

Markuson, how's the iTrip adapter in terms of sound quality?
I haven't tried that specific one, but the few I've come across in this price range have been unspectacular at best - either flat sounding, or in some cases buzzing at high volume. The Mark Levinson Reference system in my LX highlights these shortcomings. Such is the disadvantage of a great sound system.
I've found the more expensive, wire harness integrated ones to be much better in this regard.

yeah that is what I m doing. I find 2008 models often with 60,000 miles for $32K. But at the same time 2011 models with 70,000 for $36K.
Makes ya lean toward spending 4 more grand. I wish I didn't dislike the looks of the new Landcruiser so much. I'm sure if I had one and ripped that frontend apart added a bumper, winch, and brushguard I'd learn to love it fast.
Noticed thus 08. Kinda interesting. 90,000 miles. History is the intersting part. Priced high but just a starting point.

I highly doubt you're finding 2008 models with 60k for $32k "often". If you are, you should either post links or buy one, especially since the one link you posted was a 2008 with 95k miles for $36k.
