My wife is going out of town this weekend. My plan is to drop her at the airport and head out of town with the kids and dog. I was thinking Natural Bridge because I have not been there for a few years but Hodgie said Rush is pretty awesome. I'm leaning to the Bridge still but I will go where people want to go. Can't trailer because kids don't fit in the truck so I don't plan on getting too crazy but who knows. Anyone?

I should be in. Love Natural Bridge, never been to Rush. I'll probably have at least 1 other rig with us (Jeep) if not a few more.

So far I have one more potential. I say Natural Bridge. That is also the grand opening of Rush so it will probably be busy

Like usual busy that weekend. Bluegrass for babies on sat and widespread panic on sun.

We seriously need to get together. I really want to get to a Yonder show.

Off topic. Umphreys and Govt Mule at Redrocks was one of the best weekends I have ever had. Umphreys went to a smaller venue in Denver that night after the show and did an all acoustic show. Good weekend.

Back on topic........

Off topic.

I usually catch ymsb at madison theater, saw them for the first time at the barrelhouse 10++ years ago. Haven't seen um in a bit, but did see them at the mad frog 10+ years ago. They all like to play during the week around here and that sucks for my wife and I with the kiddos.

On topic.
I guess I could run down to natural bridge in my 4ruuner, depending on trails.

It rained pretty hard for about 3 hours on Saturday morning and we got pretty wet... But after about 11am the rain stopped and we got some sun later in the afternoon...

We started out with a group of about 20 vehicles and did some mild wheeling... After a couple hours the myself and the other 3 Yotas broke off from the big group we were with so we could go run "Widow maker"... I had forgotten how cool of a trail it is... We made it about halfway and had to turn around after the Taco tore a valve stem...

After a good day on the trails we headed back to the fire house for dinner and to hang out... There was a great crowd probably 50/60 vehicles... Got to see some old friends and meet some new ones...

We headed home Saturday night since most of everybodys stuff got soaked that morning...

I want to head back. I had a great time but we just started out with too many in our group to move that fast. I defiantly want to run the rest of widow maker. Whoever said 80s were no good in the rocks needs to come hang out with us for a day

I was also disappointed to have to leave but I couldn't make my kids sleep in wet sleeping bags

Sorry I missed what looks like a good time. Just been a somewhat crappy year so far. Hopefully next time.
