any interest in wheeling on new years day?

Cow Mtn, Pillsbury or ??

Lets put something together via our PMC forum here.

If it were up to me, we'd bomb up to Cow Mtn in Ukiah and check out the new OHV park.

If its closed due to rain, we'll just go a little further up the road to Pillsbury and look for snow atop Hull Mtn.

what say you?

Tony in Healdsburg

I could potentially go, depending on when I get in on the 31st. It has to be wagon friendly-too cold and too far for the 40.

Count us in!

I'll be back in CO for vacation. How about a trip sometime between the 27th and 30th??

It's all wagon friendly, just not paint friendly... ask John Powers.

Ramsey... 04 member of the year? WTF is that crap? Next time I see our editor, I gonna give them a swift kick in the arse.

hey Ryan, if no one ponies up to go, lets go the day before and celebrate new years.

Brenda can supervise...

and speaking of Brenda, how is she doing? What is the targeted date again?

I'd be up for a run later in the month. Assuming the 40 is moving :)

OK, to confirm, it will be a snow run to Pillsbury.

Meet between 10 and 10:30 at the run way on lake Pillsbury.

Ryan and I are there, probably Roger and anyone else.

I might be interested in going. I'll confirm this tomorrow.

How was it? I was up in Nice(fishing) and could see the snow on the top of the mountians.I made a trip to Ukia and on the way back i saw Yota Man,sorry i forgot his name.I hope everyone had a fun new years day.

snow snow snow... and lots of people out playing in the snow.

I have never seen so many people there...

Carl from Sacto showed up (good thing too) along with Chris and Kathleen, Ryan And Brenda a some friends of theirs, Yotaman, and ... that was about it.

then we all got separated and did our own thing.

did I mention the snow?

Next event, PMC Formal meeting in Sonoma, CA on Jan 20th.

Tony, thanks for allowing me to tag along with you guys and gal. I had a blast as snow is my favorite type of wheelin'. If I wasn't tired from the only 2hr sleep I had the night before I would have hung out a little longer.

Carl

We were bummed that we didn't get to wheel with Tony and the other PMC members.

Ryan's friend, Matt, '85 mini had all kinds of mechanical problems. After 3 hours of trying to keep it running on Hull Mtn. amidst all the traffic, we decided to tow him down to some pavement and he, his wife & 2 yr old had to ride with us in our '92 FJ80.

It never fails, Ryan almost always ends up towing someone out or working on their rig. It just wasn't Safreno this time!

Looking forward to the Mud Run in February . . . as long as nobody brings a problematic rig. If it's having problems . . . leave it at home!

And yes, there was tons of snow. It was beautiful. Even snow down near the lake and on the county road!

Carl... hit me off line with your mailing address...

Ramsey... so did you folks just bail? I saw the white mini near sanhedrin...

Around 2 pm is when we finally towed the white mini down to the pavement near San Hedrin. (We didn't think we'd be able to find you guys with all the Jeeps in the way on Hull!) We then went up San Hedrin to play in the snow and try out our new sleds. It was a lot less crowded than Hull and the trails are wider to go around other vehicles. Around sunset we towed it down to Soda Creek and let those people know we were leaving it there. Ryan and his brother Eric (future PMC & TLCA member) took Matt up there and they fixed the mini and he was able to drive it home.

Glad that you guys made it home safely also.
