We are lucky to have a couple top notch fabricators in the area though. I'll get you the names I have from when I got mine galvanized and coated.

Nice pics. I envy the mud!

I wish they made these for the 200 series

They do, I have them on my LC 200. If you are anywhere near Vancouver, WA or Portland I'm happy to show them to you. I have the 1st pair ever made.

they said the made a couple sets of them I guess, you must have got one of those sets? they are currently not making them I guess... I live up near Tacoma, but if I head down that way I will drop you a message, I would love to check them out, thanks!!!

How's Tahuya this time of year? Just curious about adverse conditions like snow and whether that impacts fun factor. Brand new to wheelin'. Thanks.

Tahuya is almost at sea level so no worries on snow or ice for the most part... This time of year you will encounter deep water and mud depending on what trails you run... The nice thing about Tahuya for beginners is there are plenty of trails for all levels... If you run the 4x4 loop it's pretty basic and you'll only encounter a couple tight spots... it's pretty easy run and should encouter no body damage or scratches if taken slow etc... let me know if ya got any other questions...

Would you happen to have a google mapped chart of the "4x4 loop"? my buddy and i (he is trading in his 100K+ mile G55 for a 4r this week -smart move) are interested in blazin trail in short order.

i'm also interested in trails with beautiful views. less interested in actual technical wheeling atm.

danke.

They told me the same thing, why don't you suggest they try again? I am in Vancouver, BC and I'll take a set if they make them up.

I did ask them to make more, they said they might at some point:confused: guess will just have to wait and see... everyone that wants a set start emailing them letting them know ya want some, maybe we can get them to fire up another batch:cheers:

Trading the g55 in where? What does he need to get out of it? I may be interested in buying it.

FYI, the G is several times better built than a 4runner. Totally fine if he just wants to switch out the toys but a G55 is actually many times more capable as well as built better. More expensive to maintain and also to modify for off road play but otherwise there are only a handful of vehicles in the world built as well.

I have friends with old ones and new ones and almost bought a 2011 G55 but decided to wait on new engines and ultimately am willing to wait and see if they ever bring it to the US with a diesel.

Have fun out in the woods. Be careful with tire cutting against the upper control arms. Inspect regularly after any articulations.
