Dan, I was going to post it also, I guess you beat me to it.

Oh Ya, for those that don't know where Michaels Cafe is: Head past mission on Lougheed hwy(#7) then past Hatzic, in the town of Dewdney, just past the first railway crossing it's on the left hand side.

hey deny some more of my friends are comming on sunday aswell, may have to hang around till 9:30 or so

Dan

Bummer...

Have to trim the front before the next trip out, and no time before Sunday to do that...

Have fun!

Sure Dan, 9:30 is ok,

Greg, bring the sawzall to the trail, I still have my brothers inverter hooked up from when I went to River Shiver to power my block heater, and we can do some fender trimming as needed, then when you go home you can clean it up. That way you know exactly how far to trim!
Cheers,
Deny

Good idea Deny, however the main reason is I did not appreciate the death wobble. I may simply spend the day in the shop going through the entire front end and check everything, and also check the entire truck underneath to ensure nothing loosened up yesterday.

I had no indication of issues while cruising the logging roads, and they were full of pot holes...but something is up to create it.

Funny that you mention it but once when looking back at you in the rear view it looked like your right wheel wobbled after some potholes but when I looked again it never did it again. I thought I was seeing things.

HIJACK Good, thanks Ham. I did not feel it, and as commented on the CB it felt stable and I was hitting as many pot holes as possible to find issues! Complete front axle rebuild, on the tight side, however will check it all tomorrow. Any wear in the bushings, TRE's, steering box, etc...in the reading I have done any play will compound and create the wooble, as will incorrect castor and front wheel alignment. Everything is new (but bears checking again) which brings it down to castor, alignment, and steering box play.

We had a fire truck that had serious death wobble when some new tires were put on the steer axle. It was in and out of shops for a month trying to figure it out. Took off the new tires, and went with another brand and it has never occured again! Go figure.

END HIJACK

ya, sweat, those pictures don't even tell you that I only made it 5 ft further up the trail, and only 30ft from the trail head! damn those rocks are big!
Hey Dan, you should change your sig, it still says you got 36 inch tires.
Cheers,
Deny
