Do you know who will be driving the East Coast FJ Cruiser and will it be at GSMTR?

I don't know if he is on this board, but I will let him know when I see him, and the Central Team next week if they want to introduce themselves on here.

Ron . . . . tell me more about what the FJ Cruiser Trail Team is all about. (This is the first I've heard about it.)

Is it sponsored by or affiliated with Toyota?? Is there a web site or something that covers it more??

Its basically what I posted in the first post, we will be going to TLCA, and other Offroad events and taking the FJs out on the trails and if people want to wheel it they are more than welcome to. Some events will be shows, desert racing events, etc... where it will be on display.
More info will be on Toyota's website in 2-3 weeks!!!

I think the Cent. FJCTT will cover events there but both of our teams will be at a lot of the same events.

I just want to know if I should be hounding Robbie or you about coming to New Mexico with the FJC. Maybe I'll just bug both of you. :D

Be advised that ole Beo can be tenacious.

Hey Beo, currently there are no events planned in New Mexico. I wanted to come and visit you guys, I even told Dan that he needed to hound the dealers around AQ some to see if some thing could be done. Mostly the teams are about events with TLCA or TTORA, or other big events where people are gathering for a off road event or show. I just do not think the Ballon event will get us in AQ. I am going to mention to Brady about the Chili challange and farmington events to see if there is some interest.
Beo if you are going to be at Moab this year, I be there with the team. Once the web site launches the calender is some what locked in for about 30 days. I do hope to see some of the High Desert Gang at some point some where. catch you later robbie

So what states are covered by "West"/"Central"/"East" ?

Ron's out west
Robbie is the central
??? is East.

Robbie--are you going to be in Indiana at the Badlands/Hoosier Cruisers Easter Weekend?

Can't wait to see this thing in action. I am really excited.

Best.

Well the teams are divided by these reagions loosly. The west coast team has 3 FJ, 2 with arb's and winches and one stock for the camp for people to look at (unless there is no base camp or event stage area). We in the central region will have 2 FJ's. One with ARB and winch, one with out. The east coast team is set up like the west coast team. Each team has a lead driver and assistant drivers depending on how many FJ there are. Each time also has a Producer and producers assistant (to manage the events logistics, and goodies to hand out, the BBQ as well).
Over the next 8 months starting on April 1st, the teams will be at different events all over the US. Once the web sit starts we will know where we need to be as teams. Currently the schedule is not 100% final for the 1st month. About all we know currently is where we will be on April 1st, and the next weekend following the 1st. The central team will be with the west coast team at Easter Jeep Safari for that event. I do not know where the East coast team will be. So 5 FJ's will be on trails at EJS over Easter.
All the teams will be introduced on the web sites on the 27 th, as well as some of the event schedules. Hope this helps some. later robbie

Cool, I was wondering when some of the other Team members would post up

Hey Ron:
TLCA is real excited to have the FJC team coming to our events. I think it's a great opportunity for our folks to meet the new beast.

See you on the 'con-chef

Well I have meet my team (Jeremy, Chris and Troy)and a few of the other participents here in grand junction. We have a few of the FJ setting in the parking lot and more here in GJ at Bill Burkes shop. The ARB Bar and Superwinch with some IPF lights look great. No I do not have pics at this point(just wanted to say that in advance). I hope to caputure some later today. Have a day of training with info on the FJ Crusier. Tomorrow we get to set behind the seat, then the fun begins. later robbie

Hey, some of the East Coast guys should bring the FJ's and come hang out with us at Tellico the weekend of May 12/13/14th. It's the 3rd annual SouthEast 4Runner Jamboree (SE4RJ3). We'll be based at Crawfords, and so far have about 15 rigs registered along with almost that many spectators/passengers. We're expecting about 20 rigs to be registered for the trails. We're having a BBQ dinner on Saturday Night and raffling off some sweet stuff that vendors have donated. You can check it out at http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=71949. If it would work into your schedules, then let me know!

We'll be doing pretty much all the trails except for only the most extreme ones, in about 3 to 4 groups. It will be mostly 4Runners - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gens, and probably a few tacomas.

bump, hoping for a reply to the invite...

Sooooo. ............whats the deal? where did the Trail team go ? Thought thay were going to launch there site today? anyone have any info ?

I have not looked today, but will soon to see if it launched. The centeral team is currently in Moab doing site selection stuff and running a couple of trails. The east coast team is headed for Rockport Ill, And the west coast team is heading for Frederickburg, TX (I am doing it from memery and hope the spelling is right).
The teams are directed by a couple of people as to where to go bamachem. If you want to e-mail the person responsiable for the choices here is the e-mail address.
bradyc@actionpartners.com
He is the gentleman that can address your request.
Later robbie
