I just purchased a set of centerline hellcats 15x10 with 3.75" backspacing. Based on what I have been reading I thought these would fit pretty effortlessly. I recently purchased a '85 FJ60 front axle with rebuilt knuckles, new rotors and new warn hubs. I will be doing disc swap off of this axle on to my '72 fj40 axle. When I did a test fit of the wheels it appears they will require some spacers. My question, what type of spacer would be recommended and what is a good source for them?

post in the wanted section, I have previously and had many offers

You should be able to get by with some 1/4" plate spacers Loren. I think I've got a set or two in a box in the garage. I can drop a pair by next week if you want to try them out to make sure the TREs clear.

I have been running a 1/4" spacer for years and have had no problems. I switched to a fj62 steering arm and my 4" bs wheels are now a problem. I ordered some Spider Trax spacers to fix the problem. I have heard of guys running with them and they like them. I should have them early next week...

e rock, that would be great. Let me know what you want for them and I will pick them up.

Thanks..Loren

PM me your address again. I'll be in your hood either Monday or Tuesday for work and I can drop them off. If they work for you, they're yours.
