Hey all,

I installed 3.5" backspace wheels a few months ago and haven't been happy with my stance; I'd like it to be wider. I'm thinking of ordering the spidertrax 1.5" (Lug Centric (Early Model)) but thought I'd get a few more opinions first.

I searched the threads and found some good advice regarding wear and tear and such, but thought I'd ask if anyone has found better prices, other options on par with these, and other such opinions.

Thanks,

Kyle

What year rig do you have? If you have the small knuckle bolts, I would seriously warn against using 1.5" spacers. It puts a lot of additional pressure on the front knuckles. I had 35s and the same spacers with a locker and first trip out, stretched and pulled out my driver side studs.

The coarse spline outers has trouble with tires out that far.

But if you have the large pattern knuckles and fine spline shafts, you should be good.

AS for a place to buy . . . Marlin Crawler, Inc. or all pro off-road

support a cruiserhead, buy from Marlin..

Marlin is also a member of our club, Central Valley Crawlers, and I can say from experience, buy from him and you not only get what you paid for, but you will also get spot on advise on your product.

Hi All:

I did my first run with a pair of used MarlinCrawler 1.5 inch wheel spacers on the rear axle last weekend. No problems with the spacers, and no tire rub on the rear inner fenderwells! :D

Regards,

Alan
