We have similar XD wheels. Not my choice nor my favorite but they came with the LX and they are what they are.

If i made this wheel choice after a night of drunken disorderly conduct i would lose the HUGE center caps and paint the wheels a lighter color with only the hubs in flat black. Maybe the color of the cladding or gunmetal type color in satin. Also i saw you were considering doing the cladding in black. That would be a horrible decision. my thoughts cheers

JMO, but I dislike the majority of the after market wheels out there. I like OEM LC wheels followed by some of the Tundra wheels. I also dislike anything large than 18" for off road. I really wish there were more 17" options available for the 100.

Of course all the above is just my opinion. As long as you're happy it doesn't matter what the rest of us think!

Anyone know of a wheel that retains the general premise of the OE look (5 spoke) but has the correct offset and such? I'm not a fan of aftermarket, at least for my 100 and would love to locate something that keeps the original looks (as much as possible anyway).

Besides the hub flange nuts and lug nuts, how many of those fasteners have a purpose? It reminds me of the exposed hardware on the new Land Rover Discovery door cards.

Absolutely none. Like I said, these were on the vehicle when we bought it and I don’t care enough about aesthetics to pay to put wheels I like better on.

Are you referring to 17" wheels? If so, there is a factory 17" option that was available outside of the US. I'm not sure about the availability here however, or the cost.

What a lovely waste of energy to keep them clean, eh?

I prefer my Sonicare toothbrush on the lowest setting and used toothbrush heads, but 6 of one half dozen of the other ....

;)
