I’ve got some SCS BR6 -38’s on my GX. I like them alright, but I think I’m going to have to sell them. The -38 is killing me. The rear tires will not stuff. The scrub makes steering more difficult when aired down. Not to mention they are mud slingers & I live on dirt. Who runs 35” tires & where is the sweet spot in wheel offset?

I have nothing to actually contribute here but I just wanted to say that I love the wheels and if you wanna part ways with them let me know. I’ll deal with the burden of lots of negative offset for you

Can you measure how much is the rub in the rear?
0 should clear up front with 35x12.50
Rear might rub the inner fender at full articulation. So the sweet spot should be between 0 to -12 depending on your setup.

I’m going to borrow my brothers -10 SCS wheels this weekend off his 4Runner. He has the same tires as me. Should give me a better idea.

I put the -10’s on. Man the truck is so much narrower. Drives so much better on gravel. Does not pull all over the place. The rear tire stuffs nicely, but barley. I ordered some Method 701 Trail series wheels in a -12 offset. The stuff will be close in the rear but the lip can be adjusted (beat with a hammer) to clear if so. The -10’s just barely rubbed in the front on the sway bar. The -12’s should help this.
