I am looking for alloy wheels for my 71 fj40. I'm looking at buying the kmc enduro pictured below. The backspacing on the 15x7 wheel is 3.76 and the 16x8 is 4.50. The question i have is, can i run either of these wheels on my 40 without using a spacer. I read that factory backspacing is 3.25-3.50 but i also read with drum brakes the backspacing is 4.0. I would prefer to run the 16x8 even if I have to add a mild spacer. thanks for the help.
