Wheel fit question

I have a 95 4Runner with the stock original aluminum wheels, they're wearing a very nice set of BFG all terrain tires. I am buying a 97 4Runner that is in need of new tires and I am wondering if the 15" rims from the 95 will bolt on to the 97 and clear brakes and whatever else. Anyone know? Really appreciate any insight you might have for me on this one. Thanks, Shmukster

@shmukster - If the '97 had 16" wheels and the larger brake rotors, the wheels may not fit. If the '97 had the smaller 15" wheels and rotors, they may. Measure the rotor diameter on the '97 and compare with the 2 sizes shown on Rock Auto (where you can find the 2 different diameter rotors for sale).

But, as with all wheel fitment - it only fits for sure when you personally bolt it on and see if it fits.

I agree heartily Steve. I pick up the 4runner today so we'll see if they fit!
