Wheel Bearing hubs need to be changed in pairs?

My 99 Toyota Camry needs the left wheel bearing hub replaced according to my mechanic at American Toyota. He found this while mounting my new tires (Cdan) and doing an alignment. (not when I took it in under warranty for front end noise more than a year ago. ).

The (St)dealer service writer recomended that I replace both hubs at the same time for $455. I'll have my indy wrench do it with OEM parts instead. Should I do both or just the bad hub. Also after the service should I get the car aligned again?

Bump - I want to save the bucks if I can but get the best repair possible.

You must need to check the other wheel hub .. if had some signs of damage, I thought the best deal is replaced ..

I know the hubs on my ol lady's Malibu aren't hard to change, as I recently put a new one on the passenger side. I only put one on, but only after inspecting the other one. I'm not sure why the one went bad but the other one doesn't have any play that I can see. On her Malibu, you just remove the axle nut, and then there are three bolts on the back that hold it on. Maybe a 20 minute job.
