Hello.
I was wondering if you all could help me out with the pros and cons of RIM width.
Im wondering the difference between a 17X8 17X9 & 17X10 inch rims
with 37x12.5x17" BFG Krawlers.

First I am told that 96 FJ80 rims are 4.5" backspaced on 16X8" rim
I plan on having a 6" lift before I add this tire combo. So I am wondering what kind of backspacing I should have on the Larger and Wider Rims.

I also wonder the pros and cons of a narrow vs a wider rim.
.
I plan on using this vehicle for both on and off road, Light rock crawling, and more off trail running.

I just want to make sure I get as much info as I can before I lay down the $$$$ for new beadlock rims.

Since you are going beadlock, then losing a bead on the wider rim is not an issue. However, the narrower rim will make the tires taller and skinnier than the wider rims. You will have a hard time fitting those tires on that truck with 10" rims though. Go with the 17x8's.
