What's wrong with the rig? Starter still?

think hes waitin on a freeze plug, wrong size block heater:mad:
(glad to see you had plenty of fun this past weekend)

Hijack - Did you ever get those wheels from IPOR Jason?

nope, money has been going to the strangest places lately.........

Dan, i'm waiting on a new freeze plug from Maryland. Should be here today (wed.) so i can see if the starter works. . .

I'll post up and let you know. Based on the other thread in 80s tec., i'm thinking i may have a shot ignition. We'll see.

oh sheet...

nope, money has been going to the strangest places lately.........

and from what i've been able to track, some to colorado and a lot towards virginia.....;)

Sounds like Slee and IPOR have been getting help paying bills by Jason... :D

Allrighty Dan, as i promised. Cruiser is all buttoned up, new freeze plug hammered in, filled her up with toyota red and water...crossed fingers... AND SHE CRANKED! Runs like a top. So for now, i guess i fixed my starter problem.

Congrats Alex, much better to work through these issues with time and leisure at home as opposed to the high bald at Cullowhee with inclement weather and sub zero temps!!

Awesome! I get to attack my axle on Saturday...woohoo...blah

You guys are right, there certainly is a sense of accomplishment and pride when you finish a job on the cruiser. One thing is that the valves are still in spec, at 186,000 miles (props to Mr. T), and now that the plug tube seals are cleaned out and now sealed up with new plug seals and the other assorted things i did, she is running great!

The only negative thing i have going is the fact that my 80 still is my only vehicle. i can't afford to be down. HUGE thanks to jfz80 for letting me borrow his tacoma while the cruzer was down.

Cool deal Alex. I'm glad to hear that everything worked out ok. Jason's a good guy. You know he would always help. If you ever need anything from us just let us know.
