Okay guys, I need some help and advice from the mud community. It has been a difficult decision but the reality is its time for me to look at seriously selling my 60. I refuse to drop 90 miles a day driving to school for the next 3 years on this low miles cruiser, not to mention the cost of gas...

Check out the link in my signature "Lunchbox" and let me know what you guys think, I would be happy to answer any Questions and or post additional photos.

Thanks guys/gals

How about a consolidated list of the important details. Your build thread is a few pages long and a nice list of the mileage, condition, mods and the like would help.

what he said^

but I'd toss about $5,800 out there. What's the mileage?

Edit: maybe $7,500 considering the low mileage if you wait for the right buyer.

if you can afford to park it n get a little commuter... I would do that....first...
sorry to hear you thinking of selling....
Good luck with whatever decision you make...

Agreed with Manuchao, I am sure that you can pick up an old 80 Corolla/Tercel 4WD wagon for less than $1500. We all love your 60 and would hate to see it go to another home.

Dont sell it

Hang on to it! you will regret it. Do what you can to take her with you.

Sub $10K

$8000-$9500 depending on the market and the details

If you can't afford the gas, that's one thing...but these were meant to be driven...
for a long time...and to be reliable while getting you there.

Do a large tire overdrive and

Drive it.

Tough decision, I feel for you. Small hijack question...any idea if those ProComp steeiies are available in 16" with proper back spacing? I like he round hole look of those. Thanks.
Good luck with it.

I think so, but its been a bit since I ordered them, cant imagine they dont make them tho. Good luck

It's a nice one. But, the market for gas guzzlers isn't great these days and it's probably not going to get any better in the future. No harm in offering it up around 8K and see if you get a bite. You may need the right buyer at the right time-in other words a bit of luck.

yeah but Portland has a strong 60 following, my rule of thumb for accessorized vehicles is take the base value of the rig alone then add half the cost of all the upgrades.

I get it, I sold a 60 once. You'll get another, I did.

I'm local, I got a buddy who wants to take a look when you're ready.

I bought one 3 months ago for 4500. Nice paint and good condition with custom bumper and nice interior. 250k miles in portland. If you want to part out anything it may help with getting the price you want. Another option is eBay and having it shipped at buyers expense.
