No pun intended and I've already thought of most of the clever repartees about drawers as clothing! I'm trying to sell the SO on one of the ARB drawer systems and am very interested in how the brain trust out there uses their drawer systems. Do you keep recovery gear/tools year round? Food/ kitchen on one side, camping gear on the other? Keep the drawers in year round or take them out during the winter?
Thanks in advance!

Mostly tools, parts, jumper cables, jack, vise, coffee grinder :D, dog bowls, dog and human food, spare oil, brake cleaner, ATF, brake fluid, shotgun shells during hunting season and God only knows what else...too much based upon each time I have to open the darn things.

You could make a solid sales pitch based on the safety of having all that and more safely contained!

Other than mentioned, air mattress and pump, lightforce covers, maps, slee jack all tool thing, slee trasharoo, training dummies for retriever, but no food - hostess went out of business.

Chains, stock bottle jack, tools, ARB chair (my drawers are deeper than the outback drawers.) camera tripod, 1st aid kit, recovery gear bag etc.. Most if it stays in there all the time.

too poor for drawers, so I have two action packers - in one I keep a coil pack, accessory belt, ODBII code reader, cheap socket/wrench set, a tow strap and a cheater bar

In the other one I have a bug out kit/get home kit with blankets, MRE's, batteries, survival kit and other misc stuff

And a puma 12V puma compressor between the two action packers (also have the third row seats still installed)

I also have a Victorian Rescue tool, leatherman, a Collapsible Baton (you never know), a good flash light, and an awesome first aid kit with Quik Clot in the center console/map pocket

Best sales technique is making them think it was their idea.

Leave the cargo area extra messy for a while. Then accidentally leave the browser page open on the ARB site. Or sign her up for the ARB email list.

Approach your wife from the safety viewpoint. Imagine what all the stuff below would do in a rollover. That's what I did and it was an instant sale.

er- Do you have any pics of the water tank and how it's situated/anchored? I've been thinking of doing the same thing when and if I get the drawers installed. I'm doing the Helton shower and will need plenty of water.

Another great use for the drawers is property management. Along with my regular tools I have a few basic home repair tools. I carry common spares like sprinkler parts, washers, fittings etc. it's been nice because I always have it when I get "the call".

Oh yeah, I forgot to add. Guns and ammo. :D
