Guess it's worth 8500. Hard to say without an actual inspection. "Body work" could mean bondo and rust underneath the new paint.

trying to get a nice deal, I sent Him an offer of $4500. Rejection. Now relisted at $7000.

Not very good photos. I'd ask him some questions, and for more photos if you're serious. The blackened lower quarter panels and rockers are areas to inspect more closely. Also ask whether the roof has had rust "repair".
