What would you do with these?

Ok, my rear qtr panels are pretty crappy and when i bought my 40 it had diamond plate corner panels on it and i removed them. So today i bought some aluminum rear qtr panels for both sides for $30 from a local guy. What's the best way to install them? it would be covering every ding and dent on my 40 so would it be better to rivet in, bolt on or is there another way?

If I was to do it, again. I would drill 1/4" holes spaced out every 6". Then I would wire wheel the crap out of the rears and coat them with POR-15 or rust bullet. Transfer the holes onto the new panels and drill. Then send them out to get anodized. yes, they do clear. And it only cost me $37. When you go to attach them, use 1/4" machine fastners and nylocks. And space the panel from the steel panels with plastic washers. All can be found at ACE/Depot/Lowes. Got mine from Fastenal, I think it was less than $26 shipped.

Yes, tedious I know. You wont have to correct the junk behind panels ever again. And your panels wont be soooo fast to oxidize and get "powdery" for a few years.
