So im a noob in the 100 market and im sure this has been hashed 1000 times but I've been wanting one for a while just never really pulled the trigger. Anyways, I've found a 2004 LX 470 for sale locally and am really considering it. Exterior is mint (for now :)) and it has around 130k on the od. I know that the 100 series is virtually bullet proof, but was wanting some input on what to look for as far as common wear parts/what to watch out for, and what to expect as far as how much life I could get out of it assuming proper maintenance. It would be used for light wheeling on the weekends but mostly for my extended out of town camping trips.

Any help is appreciated

There's also a great write up on sleeoffroad.com.
When I got mine, it had 230k on it, it's needed the front cv's, radiator, t connector on the rear coolant lines, new steering rack, shocks, and a few other odds and ends. And upper ball joints.
Have the sway bar bushings and links on order from the local stealership, there's a low speed rattle in the front end I wanna get rid of.
Also replaced plugs, air cleaner, fuel filter, and had a fuel service done, just in case.
Not saying these are going to be common to every 100 series, but I know some of them are.
