What to look for in buying a 100 series

hey everyone!

i love my 80 series but would like something for my wife to use on a day to day commute.

on 80 series the locking fr/rr differential is the coveted feature.. does the 100 series have anything like that

any good to have option to seek out and also is there a specific year i should stay away from? maybe focus on the ones built after 2000 or the entire series is basically strong

The Slee checklist is extremely good.
Further as these 100 comes in many variants, do check the options you want is available in the car.
it can be difficult/expensive to retrofit.
Like: Manual or automatic A/C - Rear A/C - 3rd row seats – foldable side mirrors – heated mirrors – seat heater – Electronic rear view mirror – manual or automatic gear shift etc.
