Need to install a hitch on a 99', but do not know to much about them. I am in Canada for 2 months so need to get it installed here to bring back a fishing boat. Any suggestions on brand? Don't do a lot of wheeling, but eventually plan to do more, nothing major though. Is this a self install thing or pay to get it done?

Go with a good name brand such and Valley Industries, Reese or Draw-tite. OEM would be nice since it comes with the factory wiring harness but the dealers charge major bucks. You can sometimes find good deals on eBay. Yes, it is an easy self-install thing but you might need a good impact gun or a long breaker bar to get the bolts loose. PB Blast it now in preparation.

I purchased a "hidden hitch" brand recently from EBAY.. seems to be of good quality.. decent price..
