What tires are you guys running on stock 15" wheels?

I got a great price from 4WP and they mounted them.

Is there a big difference in the 33x 10.5 a/t and km3 or km2 as far as being used on the stock rim? Is the side wall stronger?

No practical experience - just what I've read: the KM3 is slightly wider, taller, and heavier with a more dense tread block pattern and a side wall tread that reached farther down the tire. It's a higher pressure tire also. Sidewall strength reported 27% higher than KM2.

Are the A/T's about the same as the KM2's? As far as sidewall goes.

Link to my build thread where I went from 33x10.5 on steelies to a 16 " wheel. Personally, if you arent doing a lot of off road, go with AT not MT.

This followed me home
I almost dislike the AT tread. Muds look so much better in my opinion.

Do you remember where you read this? Pretty interesting. Makes me feel better after my OG KM1s blew out.

I was running 35's on 15" wheels with only an OME lift - no problem.
I am now running 37's (and went to 17" wheels) and I'm getting a little rubbing.
But I have the 35's for sale - but they are probably too far away from you to be of any use.

I agree about the look. but my A/T's are super quiet and give me a nice ride, I also don't take it off road much. I have 5 stock rims and hub caps that came with the truck and I love the stock wheel and cap look.
Another question, are the mud terrains quiet and a good ride?

They may look better, but the AT’s are going to be way better in the winter and are much quieter on the street. Those qualities aren’t important to everybody, however.

I second using the Harbor freight tire changer and installing them yourself and then bringing the tires back to the shop for balancing. Just did this myself a couple weeks ago with 33x10.5 BFG AT’s that the big chain wouldn’t install on stock 5.5” wheels. I don’t blame them in this litigious world we live in and was prepared to do it myself if needed.

If you use the balancing beads, you don't even have to take them into the shop for balancing.
