What temp to monitor after EGT? (1 Viewer)

So I have a three function gauge to install and I will be monitoring boost, EGT, and ??? My thought is to measure water temp so as not to put my full trust in the factory gauge. Oil temp or transmission temp instead? Thoughts?

Definitely water is next. I monitor oil ,but only in a very secondary capacity. You will be shocked how quickly water temp can change on your engine without the factory gauge even moving.
