Im finally cleaning up my electrical add ons and moving everything from the battery to a Blue Sea fuse box.

The box is rated up to 125 amps and will have 6 circuits. It will mount to the battery box so about a 1 foot run of supply wire.

Currently I wont be using all 125 amps but I want to do the install once so what size wire do I need to handle that?

Thanks for any help.

I personally would be happy with 6awg. Note that the run from the battery to your aux fuse box is itself NOT fused - i.e. if it shorts against the body of the vehicle (think of worst case like a vehicle accident). So depending on the length and how you run that +ve lead you may want to consider a megafuse etc in the battery box.

e.g. Mega Fuses & Mega Fuse Holder

or a suitable circuit breaker.

cheers,
george.

I like those Mega fuses and will prob use that style. Ill fuse the block itself at 125amps.

6awg seems ok to me. Thanks
