7" round on the heavy duty until 2007 or so when Toyota put on the 60 series front clip Early LJ's had the rectangular ones.

i have come across a toyota genuine parts H4 semi sealed beam kit that application info states it's for a 70 series ?

they come with the black sheet metal head light buckets too ..............

there like 6 1/2 " ..............

the H4 glass lense seems same .................

why would toyota offer a kit with a black sheet metal headlight bucket ?

Interesting, don’t know. As soon as you think you know everything above the 70 series something new comes your way. Maybe it is a specific market headlight.

Toyota offered both the headlamp and also as a "Headlamp Assembly" which includes that mounting ring/bucket.

So is the glass portion same or is it just a bit smaller? I need a set of these if they are the same as a late 40 series lamp and bucket.
