What plug wires for my DUI Distributor?

I need a recommendation to get me through the next few months. Right now I have the DUI with a couple of bad wires. I was going to put some OEM wires on it but the DUI has a post connection and the OEM has a socket type connection. Can I just get a generic brand of wires from Napa?

BTW, I have an OEM distributor that will go back on my rig but it needs to be re-built, so I'm a few months away from doing that. Has anybody gone from after market back to OEM? What's involved? Your help is appreciated.

That's what I have currently, I don't want another set...probably pricey too.

If it's justa gets ya by I'd go with some off the shelf NAPA brand for a GM 250 inch six with HEI.

For something longer term I'd either go with a set of MSD's or a set of Magnecor's.

I like Accel #4038.....they are universal (make your own length) 8mm and straight ends....plus they're pretty yellow.....

May or may not make a difference to some, but Accel and Mallory are pretty much one and the same.
Too bad too, AFAIC all of the good Accel product got dumped in favor of the Mallory carp.

Maybe and maybe not. I know all of the superior Accel racing distributors went away in favor of the Mallory POS's.

Next time you go to the wrecking yard and grab a half dozen that look about right. They'll probably give them to you.
