That's a NICE US M101 3/4 ton trailer! $500! There would be two black tire marks out of my driveway to go get it!

Yeah, it's on the large size for an FJ40, but I'd like to put it behind my 1951 Dodge M37 army truck, or pull it with my pickup. It's still a heckuva lot smaller and lighter than an M104 or M105 1.5 ton trailer.

is this an M101-A1? I think these are the bigger models right? Too big for an 80 series?

If you mean bigger than a jeep trailer, hell yeah they are.

But they're a lot smaller than an M104 or M105, which really should be pulled with a 1-ton pickup at a minimum.

The M101 can easily be pulled by a half-ton full size pickup, and even some well equipped smaller pickups. I know of 80 series owners pulling them, but whether that's a good idea, I dunno. I've never towed anything with an 80 series. For that matter, I've never driven an 80 series. I would not care to tow a loaded one with my FJ40.

Boys,

That looks like a newer version of the m101, don't know the name, but is a 3/4 ton. Will pull very easliy. I have a 1953 M101 that I pull with my 80 and with my 02 tahoe. They pull at 70mph like a dream, almost like not having anything there.

I'm gonna hold out for a Canadian M101 or an M416 for now. No sense in bogging down my 60 or 80 anymore, they are slow enough so as it is.
