just calculated last night...

I've been driving to work lately - mandated by "the Boss", 'cuz she's about to have a baby :-).

any-hoo...I've got 33's, 4.11s and H55F...and on this occasion about 85% Highway. I got.....15.7MPG.

Actual numbers: 18.573 gallons and odometer read 265.8mi. I did a loose calculation on 10% variance due to tire size.

10 around town 14ish on hwy. Every time we go wheeling we spend $50 on gas alone.

Last hwy trip before the add a leafs and bigger tires 15.6mpg Thats stock 85 fj60, when I first got it I was getting 9 mpg average. 10 feet of vacuum line later I am at 15.6mpg But I dont drive this for the milage if I cared about that I would drive my 2wd Toy pickup 27mpg average.

Man am I glad I've got a diesel! I get upset if I don't make 700 - 800 km's out of a tank! Somewhere between 25 and 30 mpg!!

15 mpg on road, 15 mpg off road, 15 mpg highway!
33x9.50's

I get between 10 and 12 driving around town, but I drive at most about 15 miles a week, so it's ok. On my last highway trip to Salt Lake I got about 16, and that was with ski's on top, gear in the back, cold temps, and using the 4hi on the icy parts. Best ever is between 17 and 18 when I drive about 2000 miles of straight highway in 2 days, at about 70MPH. Sadly I only do that 2 times a year.

About 7 MPG on my 89 but the tranny filter needs changed, new air filter, my cats are clogged, and the rear drivers leaf is broken, plus whatever else. I love my cruiser!!!!

I just returned from a 1400 mile rounf trip pulling a 4x6 trailer and at 75 i got 13.2 mpg. thats with a 8% curve for the larger tires. on the way back I slowed down to about 65-70 and got about 14.5 to 15 mpg. I need a tune up and a valve adjust.
