What mileage do you get?

I tuned my FJ62 this week and I'm getting 14.88 MPG. That sounds low considering it is 90% highway driving.

What should I be getting?

Sounds about right for normal driving. The best ive gotten is 17, 15-16 is more normal. A lot of people get worse.

Mine's right about 13.8, I'd like to get it up to 14.8

im getting around 12 but I think this tank is doing good. Up to 180 miles already and barely above the empty line, might be good for 10 more miles or so.

About 10mpg in town and 12mpg on the freeway. Stock street style tires, about 205k on the engine, as far as I know no major work done to it, just maintenance. Has a minor oil leak but what can I say.

14mpg City and 16-17mpg highway. Untuned and bad alignment with stock-sized 29 inch tires. Not bad, I guess... same range (per tank) as my old MR2 turbo which regularly averaged 24 mpg mixed city/highway.

I get 13 mpg at 75, and 16 mpg at 65. Slower is cheaper.

man how do you guys get such high mileage?? No matter what I do, no matter how slow I drive I get 11-12 mpg in my 62. Stock on 33's. I calculate the tire size for mileage. I've done all the major tune ups filters fluids pcv valve spark plugs. etc.

Am I missing something? maybe a fpr? 02 sensor?

Are there any mods that you guys have done that have made a MARKED difference in your mileage?

I got the rig not that long ago and have put a lotta money into it but with gas prices these days I'm kinda regretting it. Cuz I wanna drive it all the time.

maybe 12-14 highway. but almost ALL my driving is stop and go in town. Im afraid to calculat, but i'd be suprised if i get more the 8

Just under 15 this weekend, running 85 plus on 1000 mile road trip. Occasionally to 90 or so, stock tires with a few engine tweaks.

I average around 11 in my city driving (back and forth to work) in the hills of pittsburgh - and about 16 on the highway. Stock, on 31s, plugs, wires, filters, FPR, valve adjustment, O2, 143K, bad alignment, and I drive it like I stole it.

got 13 around town based on yesterdays fill up, get 14 -16 on the road depends on the load and MPH. Wish I had an oil burner sometimes. Vortec on 33s

I get about 12 mpg in the city. On the highway running about 2600rpm in 4th gear with 33" tires and tuned as best as I can tune it, I get 15/16 mpg.

My second tank with my rebuilt 3FE was 14 MPG. Going to Moab I was just over 16 MPG.
Stock with K&N and 31X10.5 BFG All Terrains.
