Bro Rob - I couldn't resist...

8 days of trails ranging from dirt roads to rock gardens:bounce:. Over 500 miles of dirt under the tires:steer:. Altitude changes from 1000 feet to 8000 feet. Weather from 30 to 90. Two adventure trailers and one roof top tent. Meals on the trail. Daily driving times from 8 to 14+ hours. Solitary views, spectacular scenery, stuck vehicles, snow, mud sand, large trees fallen across the road requiring clearance (axes, saws & winches involved). Would that qualify? (I was wearing north face shorts a couple times and had a rusty shovel on my roof rack) Or would the fact we spent our nights in motels and had dinner at local diners disqualify us:whoops: (or make us smarter for exploiting available resources:grinpimp:)?

... Would that qualify? ...

Nope, my bet is we failed the test in several ways:

From my limited reading at the ‘portal, expo guys don’t go out there looking like riffraff, wear collared shirts, etc. We wore t-shirts and the riffraff thing, well it was a CSC run, enough said.:hillbilly: … Fail

Most of the rigs had larger than 33” tires. … Fail

I don’t think that stock roof racks count, even with a rusty shovel strapped on. None of us have huge, heavy roof racks. … Fail

Some may call Utah a third world country, but the last time I checked a map, it’s still in the USA. … Fail

We took our showers in hotels, ate the majority of our meals in restaurants, posted pix most nights on hi-speed. … Fail

Only one of our group carried spare fuel, joined us late in the run, didn’t use the fuel and it was stolen in Moab. … Fail

From my research expos need to be taken seriously, good trail communication, etc. We used CB’s and IIRC most of the communication was more along the lines of slinging the bull.;p … Fail

We posed on, crawled over, slid off of, tons of rocks. … Fail

I don’t remember anyone sleeping in the back of a rig, maybe at the wheel, does that count? … Fail

About the trailer thing, lets just say we failed,,, again.:o … Fail

So it may have been loads of trail miles, with great friends, having tons of fun, but it was just wheeling!;p:lol:

None of us had a corkscrew or wine glasses:hillbilly:... fail (I think I had a can opener though)
Damn Canadians forgot their chainsaw:whoops:...fail
We not only crawled over rocks, someone did a faceplant:o...Fail
