When I had pulled the dash display for replacing the (D) and (Cruise controll) light,
I found something odd.

What is this for?? This white tubing was not connected to anything.

The first pic is the white wire loom that goes to the AC box two last pics.

What is this off the AC box

I inserted a wire into the tube, some reason it will not come out the other side.

That is what I was thinking?? But it does not have any air flow at all, plus down at the air box there is no way that it could get anything to flow out of it as the horn shaped thingy is open on the one side.

As I looked inside this white hose I do see accumulation of dust/dirt like it was used for blowing air through over time, but I do not see how this crud could get inside otherwise.

Does anyone remember if they have seen this before??

muffler/vent for the vacuum actuated controls?

aren't there some air tubes for the temp sensors?

At both ends?

Trying to find where the tube up top is supose to attach to, I doubt it is this tube is just flopping around when the truck was first built.

Went to the dealer to get more info on this today, they have no idea. Just have a part numbers.
