I’ve been going through some regular maintenance on my 94 HDJ81 and am confused about what’s going on with this part. It appears to be some sort of breather hose attached to the top of the turbo. The photos show the pickup at the turbo and the outlet by the battery.
Is this a factory part? It seems to have been leaking a small amount of oil over time and dumping it on one of my batteries. Is this normal? Debating putting a cheap catch can on the end just to keep things tidy and easily monitor oil output.
