Picked up 2 gallons of Toyota Red and trying to flush the system after a TB job. Without using the drain plugs, how should I go about this?

I don't see how you could. "Flushing" means to drain the radiator and both engine block drains...otherwise, you've got no way to get the old stuff out.

If you can convince yourself to actually "flush" the system, you'd drain the old coolant, refill with distilled water, warm up the truck, and drain the water. You might have to do that 2 or 3 times until the water runs clear.

Once you drain the last batch of water, simply refill the system. If you're using premix coolant, dump it in until you top off the radiator and fill the recovery bottle up to the "FULL" line. The system will burp it self after a few cold-hot-cold cycles.

If you're using 100% coolant, divide your calling system capacity by 2 and add that much coolant to start. Top off the system with distilled water.

What's the issue with not wanting to use the drain plugs...changing coolant in a 100 series is NO different than most other cars and trucks.
