Just replaced the TPS on the throttle body. Not to fun and I was not wanting to replace it but kept getting the code P0121 on it so got the part and replaced it. The old one looks brand new on the inside so we'll see if that is actually the problem or if I'm going to need to replace the APPS sensor. Anyways it was difficult finding information on properly doing the sensor change out and how to adjust it properly. Initially after starting the car the rpm was a little high so I moved it a hair to get it to come down some. I'm at 650 rpm in park after a few minutes of warm up with the ac off. I am just trying to find what it should be at. The only thing I could find in the FSM is 700 +- 50 in neutral. I have searched the forums and have not found anything very consistent.

Just want to make sure it's set right.

Thanks,

Bob

I just did my wife’s TPS, the FSM tells you to adjust per the “THROTTLE POS”. I used my cheap scanner to put it in between the high and low values. 14.4-16% per the FSM.

Awesome! This is what I needed.
Thank you.

Mine idles around 700
I used my obdII scanner and got it set at 15.3 which puts it at 700 rpm and it goes +- 20 in neutral and park. It drops down to 600 in Drive. I assume it this correct?
